The GPA 1000 XS is a professional ground scanner, which is developed and produced only by KTS-Electronic GmbH & Co. KG in Germany. With a maximum search performance of approx. 15 meters (approx. 49 feet) GPA 1000 XS outmatches other gold detectors and professional metal detectors with their outdated technology and limited potential by far.
The device’s excellent search performance is reached through newly developed XS probes, which are equipped with sensitive high performance sensors and a microprocessor-controlled earth’s magnetic field compensation. As a result the GPA search system marks the present state-of-the-art and is useable also on highly mineralised soil and rocky ground.
The GPA 1000 XS is easy to control trough the touch display and can be operated without prior knowledge. The current version is provided with only one ON-/OFF-button. After power up the display immediately shows all relevant informations.
Mineral resources, treasures and cavities have an influence on the ground balance. Compared to conventional metal detectors the GPA technology has a crucial advantage to measure changes in the ground and to display these changes through a 3D visualisation software (which is developed by KTS-Electronic) on the provided tablet computer.
Electronic unit
Equipped with an integrated touch display the unit delivers data of battery status, provides information on compensation and shows the sensor value. The data is automatically digitized and will be transformed wirelessly via Bluetooth® to the tablet computer. Without the necessity of further settings the calibration is conducted by a microprocessor and will be carried out automatically on every soil. The GPA 1000 XS therefore is applicable on every soil type. The electric power supply (operating time approx. 4 to maximum 6 hours) is guaranteed through two exchangeable 2900 mAh Li-ion batteries. Through the provided quick-charger the battery is fully charged within 90 minutes. An external car charging cable for the connection to your car’s cigarette lighter (socket) is part of the equipment as well as an additional 110 Volt adapter, beside 220 V.
Metal discrimination
The GPA 1000 XS electronic unit contains the GOLD SCAN III gold detector, which also is newly developed. The device comes with a 30 x 30 cm (12″) search coil. The gold detector GOLD SCAN III discriminates gold from other metals and indicates the scanned metal type on the display, like gold, copper, aluminium and ferrous metal.

The GPA 1000 XS set includes the new compact 60 cm (24″) GPA XS universal probe. In order to measure smallest changes in the ground, the probe is equipped with high-sensitivity sensors and an automatic calibration. The probes weighs approx. 400g and are connected to a carbon telescope bar, which easily is adjustable in length.
30 x 30 cm search coil (12″)
The waterproof coil (30 x 30 cm) is applicable for the location of particularly small metals as well as large objects. There is no need for additional adjustments.
1 x 1 m search frame
The new 1 x 1 m search frame is contained only in the GPA 3000 set and is produced with an internal cable. Large areas are scanned quickly and effortlessly. The search frame is suitable for the deep scanning after medium-sized and big objects and with the aid of shoulder straps it can be carried from 1 to 2 persons. It is made of plastic pipes and is demountable into 4 pieces. The demounted frame is delivered in the attached bag and can be transported easily.
GPA 1000 XS Software
GPA Visualizer 2D representationAmong the KTS 3D software, the GPA 1000 XS is additionally equipped with the new “GPA Visualizer” 3D software. This Apps can be operated with a few easy commands.
The search starts by pressing the start button and the choice of three various speeds. The search can be interrupted anytime through the stop button. A re-start is possible by touching the start button. The search can be completed when pressing the end button. Press on “3D” and the 2D picture is changed into 3D.
